nope! a williams is NOT a bored out 1.8, the extra 200cc comes from there being more travel in the pistons creating more volume by means of extending the height of the combustion chamber.

there is a difference in bore size as well but its small and i think all gasket fire rings are made to cope with both..

correct aswell as being a longer stroke. 1.8 gasket will work on a F7R configuration

Mat Brown suggests that the F7R head gasket is stronger, but apart from that they're the same.
