right then , bonnet off, start to drain oil, carb top off, carb off,thers a drain plug for the water just under the water pump on the block remove that , remove relevant water hoses , dont be scared of them they all fit back in like a big jigsaw, now remove the turbo,, pull off the plug leads , i always pull the leads off the plugs but leave them on the dizzy cap and just undo the screws on the dizzy cap and remove the lot,now remove the rocker cover , now remove rhe rocker assy, pull out all the push rods , but mark them because they need to go back in the right holes , thers only 8 just push them through a piece of card ,look in your haynes book at the order to tighten up the head bolts and remove them in reverse order,now lift the head off , with the manifolds still atached , its easier than trying to get ya hands down the back to get the nuts off while its in the car, now remove the manifolds off the head , at this point while the head id off do not turn the bottom end if yo do you will break the liner seals, replace everything in reverse order , all the torque settings are in the haynes book , new oil and water and your away ,
