The name rings a bell. I believe they offer very good track day insurance as well, so for an extra couple of hundred quid you can go tracking as many times as you want. Give them an ask!
They wouldn't insurance my postcode though.....not sure why, never had any problems before.
Greenlight are brokers, and have always got me very low quotes considering I've made 1 or 2 changes to the standard spec......They can get you a quote if you want to modify.
£50 per trackday, not sure if they offer an annual rate.
Never had to claim so cannot advise further.
I got a quote again, I think from Greenlight, they were about £50 cheaper than anyone else. My existing insurer did me a price match within a few quid so I stayed with em but would have been tempted if I only had 1 car.
Greenlight were the most helpful insurance brokers I spoke with (Neil) when trying to source my insurance for the Vee....I don't think you could go far wrong with them at all and even though they couldn't get anywhere near my quotation - I have recommended many people to try them for quotes.
It was actually Neil who explained the interdependancies on my postcode in relation to the insurance quotes I were getting and why they were so high....:s
If elephant/admiral/bell aren't coming back with a competitive quote, add an older female to your policy (your mum or aunt will do) that will reduce it [smilie=cool.gif]
My mums a named driver on mine, she's never even been in it, let alone driven it
I tried adding my mum onto all the policy's apart from Greenlight and they are still a lot more, although it did help. I'm going to ring my current insurer (priviledge) and see if they can match Greenlight (doubt it!!). If not, looks like Greenlight are the cheapest. Wonder if the premium will go even lower by adding my mum with them?!!
My current policy is with Greenlight, best company I've had the pleasure of dealing with!
All my mods are declared, exhaust, suspension, induction kit and alloys, all for a one of payment of £25, they just call it a amendment of policy charge or something like that.
Also got a quote on a modified Mk2 V6 which worked out to be £95 a month, not bad. I'm 22 yrs old, 3 yrs NCB
