Colour coded pods and silver wheels for me. Plus something on the front to balance things out, just in case you end up doing wheelies at high speed.

Big Iain - everyone's got an opinion - here's mine:

For what it's worth: The Mk I (IMO) is the best looking Vee incarnation.
The illiad and mars make it an even more interesting proposition... you've got an absolute corker there. :approve:
My only MK I exterior gripe is the "chicken-wire rear-bumper mesh" which discolours too easily.

If I had a 230, I I'd initially be spending money on Mk II rear-subframes (V6Max is selling a set at the mo) and maybe trying to "cheer up" the interior.
I personally think both the 18" Oz wheels and a Mk I trophy spoiler are reasonably worthy exterior additions, but otherwise I'd keep the theme strictly OEM.

Yeah great opinion there, not interested in a rear subframe though. Silver wheels it is.

i dont think you can beat silver wheels.

just browing pics of mars mk1 ones, i think the mk1 pods look nicest body colour. However, silver mk2 pods would look nice! the extra width of them would be cool.

i think a trophy spoiler/splitter combo can look excellent, spoiler without the splitter though is not to my taste.

(not a mars, but still, i think looks fantastic)

& i totally agree with the mk2 rear grilles, they look tasty on a mars!!! I got mine off ebay for about £50.

if were to carry on modding mine, mk2 subframe was next on the list.
