General Chat about Bromley Pageant

Is this a more family orientated day or am I thinking of Kimbolton? May bring the mrs if it is; put her on the bouncy castle or something while we all polish paintwork. :D

Hi Jon, yes.. there are other attractions there apart from a load of cars parked up. [smilie=yay.gif] Only been to this event once before, so can only go by that first time.

Fun fair
Traders and various market traders (no fruit and veg though ;))
Numerous food and refreshment vans

There was also a show arena, but due the the weather last year, what ever they were going to show in it was cancelled. Ponies? Fashion show? Lingerie and fragrances? Who knows.... Will try and find out more of whats planned for 2012 though and up date the relevant thread 8)

as Shaun said, fun fair (not free!) bouncy castles etc. massive autojumble, car book stalls etc. (not much non car related though) and the show arena where clubs parade around slowly on the grass and maybe a lunchtime show (has been a stunt biker and police motorcycle display team in the past).

Would suggest Kimbolton is probably more family friendly, if the family are not interested in cars that is, as I remember sheep dog trails (using geese rather than sheep!) clay pidgeon shooting, burning of a stranger in a wicker man, pig roast etc was going on there the time I went.

Ah ok. May spare her this meet then and drag her to Kimbolton instead. I'll bring my other missus Nas to Bromley.

[smilie=yay.gif] Oh mate the love grows stronger, I am touched  Jon my ginger goblin, its a minor technicality but I dont remember us consumating our relationship?

And back to thread I remember Shaun and I got some V6 posters of the adverts when the phase 2 was on sale. It was well worth going just to get these bits of vee history.

Still 10 places available. Only £5 for a car and two people. Same hospitality unit as the Renaultsport meet but with free refreshments and goody bags shaping up nicely.
