i have put my problem down to the fuel pump playing up. i cant see any of the coils being at fault as the exhaust note has not changed and it isnt misfiring.

just a few questions:

firstly where is the fuel pump located ( pics would be great if anyone has any!! :) :approve: )

where can i get a new one from, prices,is fitment easy etc!

any help will be greatly appreciated...

thanks lads an ladies!

You'll find the pump inside the fuel tank.

Most likely get to it via the fuel tank access panel on the shelf behind the seats.

Well I borrowed the pictures from this very useful thread LINK which Steve helped in. I'm sure when you get in there much of it will become clearer, and you might post up your findings (please) :)

well that looks a bit of a struggle so i think i will get the parts first before i tackle taking all the carpet out. the pump can be seen on the top in he on pic so does it just unscrew out?

Just changed the fuel pump on mine, easy job once you have the carpet out of the way, i have made a tool for getting the ring off the top of the tank, will happily lend this out providing i get it back, if you break the plastic ring these are £28 + vat, not good but sunwin nottm have one in stock, if you need advice on this pm me or ring me on 07889 153352 will be happy to help, spike.
