Fuel cap lock

Just recently my key doesn't want to release from fuel cap when locking it..
Does with a strong pull!

Have tried wd40..

Any ideas pls?

Can't offer too much help unfortunately but what I will say is WD40 won't help in the long run, you may want to try a dry lubricant more suited to use in locks such as graphite powder.
