Other ( non Renault ) Fuego turbo

Checking out the diagram for the hoses which show an external hose connection to the wastegate diaphragm can anyone tell me what connects to the bronze angle piece

Just blank that off, I dont think they were on a standard issue OE Turbo, it looks like an aftermarket addition. The boost feed for the wastegate should come from the carb area, before the throttle butterfly.

You can run the brass port on the turbo straight to the actuator. Its probably the best place to run it as a nice short connection. Blank off the carb port.
