Fitting mine this weekend, Calipers have been refurbed! unfortunately the disk retainers needed to be drilled out! :( But thats not a huge issue.

The disk retaining screws were goosed, rounded at all corners so had to drill them out!

Reading on the web I see:

you cannot send money for a PayPal personal transaction from some countries, including Germany or China; and
b. you cannot send personal transaction payments to Indian registered Accounts

I can either refund the second payment and you can send this again as a personal payment in the sum of £182.59 or you can send the missing £18.76 as a Paypal personal payment or gift or via bank transfer BIC / IBAN. What ever costs you least. I cannot however refund the first payment as it is more than 60 days old.

Hope that makes sense.

Waiting for refund of second payment (£182.59).
After that I will repeat payment via bank transfer

Barring Jensen77 (as above) can anyone else with anything outstanding please post up.

I believe we are all complete and want to close this off ASAP

Cheers
Peter :)

I'm still waiting for refund of second payment since 2 weeks. Would pay again via bank transfer. Otherwise i could also pay the rest of £ 18,76 via bank transfer, cause i need this discs urgent now.
@ stephen, please let me know what you prefer.

FYI everybody i'm now assuming everyone other than Jensen77 is sorted.

When his transaction is complete this thread will be locked and the GB will be complete

Thanks for you patience everyone

Cheers
Peter(ex-GBmonkey) :)

just been to see ben he has an intresting solution to the vee brakes buy using laguna discs and spacers and the price is a lot cheaper than the vee stuff might be an idea to talk to him

Interesting, especially if the discs are of a decent quality - might give Ben a PM ... quite common in the GT4 community for brake upgrades using various options like this ... mine has GT4 grooved Subaru STI discs with a 5mm disk spacer and spigot extender which I had made - this has enabled the fitting of later model 4 pot calipers for signifantly improved braking ... other options often include bespoke caliper mounting brakets - not relevant for the Vee though I wouldn't imagine ...

Sure there is a site somewhere with diagrams and dimensions of brake discs for pretty much most makes and models, ideal for pattern matching ...

On another note though, these kits look good fitted ... good work everyone :approve:

Martin

I'm told jensen is sorting out final payments directly with Stephen so this GB is now closed.

Many thanks to Stephen and Peter for their great efforts with this successful group buy.
