French Car Show Feedback Wanted

Haha, a car show where you're scared to leave it parked/have your face kicked in? It did make me chucking for all the wrong reasons, good work Shaun

Smart. Glad I didn't bother (was thinking about it)

I hope you haven't killed the FCS guy's account yet, I really want to read his reply

Sounds farcicle doesn't it.

Just to be clear though, I was NOT threatened, I felt threatened purely by the guys attitude towards me. Even when I tried to make light of the situation he was off-hand and rude.

I'd like to hear what the FCS team have to say, but to be honest, I'm pretty much beyond caring now.

Looking forward to devoting my time to shows that really want us there and that don't encourage the chav element of society.

Maybe it should go for a rename for 2013.
I think "JKCS" Jeremy Kyle car show Hopefully it will pull in a better quality audience!

That sound sick man!

Hi guys

All I can add is we will not be having a stand at the FCS again.

I was not happy with our position. With having customer orders and items for sale on our stand, I could not come and see you guys and other customers for a chat. I wrongly assumed all Renault stands / traders would be close but I was next to Peugeot and Citroen

French car show stopped being a show for me after Stamford Hall. Even at Bruntingthorpe I thought it was pish and full of Ned's Looking for some GDi tunning

Seems like it was a waste of time from the looks of it..........

There was at least one member who pulled out when they realised that there were no barriers to protect cars.

I attended FCS in 2006 in the 172 - My first FCS experience. I had a great time, the Scottish interest we had at that time on CS was alot of fun! iirc we had about 20 of us that made the trip to brunters.

In 2007 i again made the trip but in Alan's 182, the show was an utter chav fest but the night out was a good laugh.

In 2008 i made the trip in the Vee, it was the first FCS with the Vee and i was keen to show it off, the show was once again an utter chav fest, i was quite disappointed. The car was on the YS stand, and i wasn't comfortable at all with people being so close to it, this was my fault really.

I've not been back since, and tbh i've no real interest in doing so... I'm guity of not being involved with enough (ANY) V6clio meets and i will address that! But like i said, i have no interest in driving circa 1k miles to FCS/Trax.

Ohhhh dear. Not a good read.

TBH, we haven't been since 2010. Complete chav fest and equal to WSR of the same year when our cars were in what seemed like a holding pen for the Jeremy Kyle Show! [smilie=icon_aaargh.gif]

The parking area actually looks better in the pics than it did to me on the day, but probably because we were a bit later arriving and it was a bit chaotic in the back row by then. Thanks to Shaun for holding the space as best he could until we arrived. Main disappointment for me was it seems that the bookatrack guys forgot to organise the photographer for the track despite the website link promised on the drivers wristband. I would much rather have bought one or two of those pics than one of me queuing to arrive.

Link is here so unless I'm missing something seems only Saturdays event is there which is a shame: http://bookatrack.com/-pa_Trackday-Event-Archives.html

Trade layout was definately a bit random and the Meguiar's top 25 cars got put in a really odd spot on loose gravel.

Quite a long drive (especially on the way back) but pleased I got the chance to take the 8 round Donington.

It was so nice of the French car show organisers to offer the delorean club free entry to the show!!!!!!!
Found this little gem out today! :approve:

Yeah but they went back to the future to see if it was shit or not and refused to pay once they realised it was.
