Well after much deliberation ive finally decided to advertise her.
Brooklands green Phase 2 Exec, SORN'd with MOT til the end of Nov.
Currently just short of 155,000 miles.
Ive owned the car for just over 4 years, i bought it was a project, needing sills etc replaced. In the time ive owned it has had alot of work done, i have kept a detailed record of all work, along with all receipts.
Body work is reasonable, unfortunately the front grill has 2-3 inch missing off one end, and the laquer is peeling. The top half of the rear bumper is also suffering badly from laquer peel. Other than that it shines up very well, with a deep glossy shine. Front end is suffering from the dreaded stone chips though.
Interior is very good, seats are in very good condition, with minimal wear on the drivers bolster. The carpet looks like new, suspect it may have been replaced at some point.
Ive got loads of pics, some showing the welding work in progress, but i have no idea how to include them in the ad?? if someone could enlighten me, id be very grateful. I can email the service record i have kept to anyone who may be interested, along with the pics.
Off the top of my head ive replaced:
both outer sills, repairs to inner sills
front half of both inner wings
repair to rear nearside chasis leg (at fuel tank mounting point)
Engine mounts
waterpump and belt
full exhaust+lambda, minus manifold
all four tyres recently
lower arms+ track rod ends
drive shafts
Wheel bearings
plugs, leads, and dizzy cap
drivers front window seal (others need replaced)
strut bearings
steering rack bush's
Springs
the list goes on, but as im sure you can see, its been well looked after.
So..... if someone was to give me £700 for it, you can take it! but i might accept an offer??
