Description

With regret, I am forced to sell my Renault 19 16v cabriolet. Due to a house move and won't have room for it.

The car has had a respray in the original 449 blue and the original turbine alloys have been sourced and fitted at a cost of £450, which are near new condition.
It is completely standard as it came out the factory.
The car starts first time with no knocks, rattles or smoke.
Even though it starts and drives, the car will need to be trailered away as it has no tax or mot.

My intention was to fully strip and restore the car, so would love to see it carry on living with a new owner.
It has loads of history and I have been told that it has been an ex Renault press car, which is rare. And there really isn't many of these left.

I have tried to price this fairly, obviously it would fetch more with an mot, but I just don't have the time.
£800 ono

True.
Just accepted, so it's getting picked up on Saturday. The guy is driving it back to Swindon with trade plates so I guess it's a garage that's bought it. Will find out.
Think I'm gonna regret this one! :(

Shit Happens. If I did'nt buy it back in 2006. With a knocking Engine. Very good odd's it be Crushed now. I Paid £300 for it at that time, And with Neal giving me the Tin sump engine for free. /it was back on the road with the litmed budget I had. TBH at the time it was a impulse buy, Just for what it was. I only later found out it, was Renault press car, only 33 RHD 16V's etc.

Good news, the guy came on Saturday to pick the cabriolet up. Turns out he owns a car restoration company in Swindon. So he's gonna spend the cash it deserves to make it look mint again.
I asked for some pictures as it happens and when it's complete, which he agreed to. So I'm abit more happy now that it's going to a good home.
Never know, might buy it back when he's finished it! ;)
