Hi All,
Just thought I'd post about my final pre-winter clean before Vee hibernation.
#74 has actually been tucked away since the end of August, due to timings of summer holidays and work being so busy so it's going to be a long old hibernation! Anyway, the car was clean before it went in, but I figured I'd re-wax it and make sure it's perfect before the weather turns.
List of things done were:
Light wash
Wax
Made sure every alloy wheel corner is dirt free
Door shuts & door hinge paint cleaned.
Boot shuts & under spoiler cleaned
Underneath of side skirts cleaned
Glass polished
So I was about to re-plug the trickle charger back in, when I realised how filthy the underneath of the bonnet was! I gave it a good clean and a buff up with some quick detailing spray wax, and it looks great!
I didn't take a load of pictures of the Vee as I was unable to get it out of the garage given that the heavens opened all day long yesterday so all the work was done inside the garage.
I did take a quick snap of the clean underside of the bonnet though in case it inspires anyone else to do it too
Not the most exciting post I know, but still some pics
Phil.
