my fans aint coming on and my car is over heating that the STOP light comes on and the engine warning light also comes on!
any1 help me pls? :( :s

wen it comes 2 cars i aint got a clue but i will check the fuses, but another thing wen i put my foot down with the air-con the fan makes like a winein noise something like a super charger?????? :s :s :s

Sure its not just low on Brake fluid? Im assuming you just guessed its overheating when you seen the two lights come on?

Is there water in the header tank?
Perhaps the ambient temperature sensor has failed? (this tells the fans when to come on)
Thermostat stuck?
Aircon pump breaking down?
Is your temp gauge off the scale?

A trip to the garage as you're about as technical as I am by the sound of it.

Do you mean the radiator fans or the side pod fans?

The fuses for the rad fans are under the bonnet in a box mounted on the NS wing. The fan(s) will be being switched by the ECU using output from a temp sender in the block.

As James has said can you check the header tank (under engine covers on, left hand side of the edge closest to the boot.

The whining noise with the air-con on and under acceleration is more likely to be a belt than a fan - the air con pump is belt driven and the only fans you have are the side pod ones or the front rad fans.

If your temp gauge is reading very high or very low I'd be cautious about driving the car and get it to an independent or dealer quickly. If there's no fluid in the system your guage will not read high it will appear that the car is cold. Given the engine is ally you have the potential to end up with significant "challenges" if the car overheats and the heads warp.

But do check those fan fuses (although I'd be surprised if both have gone tbh).
