Factory "One-Off" Phase1/Phase2 Hybrid???

Just having a quick look through eBay in Germany. Found the following in completed listings. It sold for just over €14k Euros.

As you can see, it has a Phase1 Interior and dash but a Phase2 front end. According to the text it's putting 245bhp out and was first registered in August 05.

I've cut and paste the German text below, but basically it says it was a one-off amalgamation between a Phase1 and a Phase2 built back in the day and it sat between two workshops at the factory in Dieppe for years. It has 17,000kms on the clock and was clearly built a long time before it was first registered in 05. It also has full service history.

Anyone know anything about it? And if it could be for real or if it's just some nasty homebuilt hybrid or "Umbau" as the Germans call them.

It would of been one of the EVO prototypes, which were phase 1s retro fitted with development parts for the phase 2 before the phase 2 was ready.

I believe (I don't know!) it will have a VIN such as VF1C61EP00000000* This was registered privately in Germany in 12/2005, but may or may not of been registered in the UK in 2001/02

For sale is a rare version of the Renault Clio Sport 3.0 V6 with original 18450 KM (verifiable from checkbook and invoices) from 1st hand.
The vehicle is a rare intermediate version of Phase 1 and Phase 2.
It stood for years as a factory sample at Renault in Dieppe in a hall between other design samples.
It was mainly an exhibition vehicle and was hardly ever driven.
Later it was only used as a recreational vehicle (no races).
