Extreme Detailing

Wicked Neo

I visit now and then...
see [ame=http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=81391] here [/ame]

Make sure you have plenty of time to read this lol

i spent ages reading that, nearly made my head spin, id never do all that myself but id love to know it was being done to my car

Our clio got a star chart on the bonnet. Oh wait that's bird shit. Great effort. but it's just a show car now.

i love a shiny car as much as the next guy but that guy seems a bit... well something... oh yeah anal about the whole thing really, paint depth etc

I loved it, Satisfies my OCD
Loved how neat his ICE install was! Can't help but think of the weight added though :?
And it must've cost the earth!

tbh i doubt a man who bought a device to check the paint depth worries much about money... i do love extreme detail but id rather just pay someone to handle it and head off and have a burger myself

but if you had one baz youd become completely obsessed with the wrong aspects of detailing i think

not really, most times you dont know the history of the paintwork, if its been heavily detailed before, they could have taken a huge amount of paint of before i'd ever know about it

surely on something the age of a 19 you could tell a repair handy enough? either way something like a 19 is never going to be perfect thats why we spend our lives repairing them and making them look good, that guy got a virtually new car and over scrutinized it, i think what he did was very petty but i can appreciate a job done properly regardless
