Exhaust options?

Been looking at the usual options, quicksilver ktec etc and since hearing some of yours yesterday has made me determined to get one. Went to a place called power flow exhausts by me and says he's already made one for the vee and the options are virtually limitless and for the messely sum of £300- would it be worth giving this a punt to get the sound i want and keep the standard to re fit if necessary, the work comes with a yr warranty? Undecided so any help would be much appreciated! [smilie=thanks.gif]

I always thought Powerflow were abit poo! Had them on cars I've owned in the past and the quality wasn't great mate. However, some stockists may be ok.

£300 is quite a good price BUT would you not rather put this towards a second hand Quicksilver or KTEC?

Got my k-tec from a member on here second hand, worth every penny. Have not experienced powerflow direct but not heard good things to be honest........

Glad your enjoying the ktec Will.

Theres a day left on the quicksilver on ebay, no bids so far, why dont you offer him £300, they dont come up for sale often.

considered ProSpeed? They've recently done my 182 exhaust... i personally wouldn't touch Powerflow but that's on the basis I've only heard bad things of them... that said they're a franchise I believe which is why the reports of them are mixed.

Cheers for the tip, got it on watch- hopefully the guy is desperate to get rid- either way not half bad saving.
Next question is how hard is it to fit?

Ktec does sound good, and looks the piece, but the baffles in mine are now finished. Going custom this time.

Personal experience of fitting is buy new clamps, (£6 odd from renault) and if you can get it up on a ramp do it as you shouldnt need to take the bumper off then!

Agree! :) Much easier. I've fitted a few now and so much easier with bumper off for what time it takes to remove it.

Fitted easely yesterday. [smilie=boohoo.gif]
