very limited info in the advert, so I have filled in what I know below:

Not the first time I have seen it for sale, but the first time they have revealed who the owner was (the last chap who sold it wouldn't confirm his name, only that he was a formula one driver).

The car was gifted to Nigel Mansell and includes photos of the handover to him and documentation from Renault to prove it. Interestingly it was supplied new with four keys.

Previously registered in France as 9394WY64, currently in Italy as FA361ST.

At least 4 previous owners. 1 previous owner includes a well known (in Italy!) car collector who presents programs on the D-Max Channel.

interesting . Someone at Renault must have had a soft spot for him since winning his title with Williams Renault, but surely it needs a red 5 on the bonnet to get 99,999 ! The words fat chance spring to mind. It's not even in the right country where a bit of Mansell/Renault love might bump up the price i.e here or in France :race:

I came close to buying his alpine a610 from my local renault dealer. It was on vrm A610MAN at time, but i decided to stick with gta. It didn’t carry much of a premium back then.

Eye watering asking price indeed - appear to be going head-to-head with the "unregistered" LY Phase 2 that popped up recently!

I think the price shown is possibly just any old number rather than the actual price. You cant put in TBC on autoscout!

It sold for just under 50k Euros end of 2015.

The ex Mansell car is up for sale again at a slightly more reasonable price this time. € 60.000,

Interestingly, there is a photo in the advert which shows that Mansell took it for a TUV inspection in November 2015, so he owned it for 13 years and did about 18,000kms in it. Thats pretty cool, he must of liked it!

Wow! 13 years is pretty impressive....especially since it was a gift.
