Agree Ali. Not the brightest thing to do!!

Surprised how even the vee/dc2 are tbh. Would have thought the vee would have had much more of an edge from a rolling start owing to torque.

Neither car showed itself in a good light tbh, then again neither of them were designed as 0-100 machines.
 
Interesting comparison. Have always been impressed by the Integra, right from the first Type-R. Didn't these have over 100 bhp/litre, a design parameter that Renault sadly missed with the Vee?

Very irresponsible of those concerned to post the video up in the public domain though!

Yep 180bhp out of a 1.8 litre NA engine.

Cam change at 5500 rpm all the way to 9k!!!

Bullet proof too.

Mine had a mugen exhaust and induction kit that put the air filter right at the bottom of the front bumper. Had to avoid big puddles :)
 
I raced my pals DC5 @ 242bhp and it was level pegging all the way, even with the Vee having a passenger!

DC2 is only mildly quicker than a 172...
