Staying Renault ideally as the o2m is loads of work and beyond a roofers capabilities....
Got a JC5 sitting in the garage with a new Gripper that I had built early in the year, I know of Clio’s that struggle with the JC5 so reluctant to fit another ticking time bomb.
Might have to try it and find out.....

Yes mate, a Megane box, amongst others. Pretty robust, reliable unit, and in the 020 variant comes with a gkn lsd (as fitted to the R26/r).
It's not plug n' play drop-in, but does fit in a GTT engine bay.
What about a Sadev 'box? They're sequential too. Gieffe Racing should be able to refurb them (or supply parts to refurb them) if you find a 2nd hand one in need of some loving.

I’ve been talking to SWR who are Sadev dealer all year.
There’s not a lot of room to get the gear linkage into the bay on the GTT compared with the Clio’s.
That’s our biggest issue and SWR was talking about a cable to the selector.
