So gave the engine bay a bit of Miguires APC ( All Purpose Cleaner ) bit by bit using spray bottles and brushes to keep the splash back down. Followed by Aeorospace 303 on the pipes, plastics etc ( never used this stuff but it work great :approve: )

By the way your plenum cover won't come up like this.........just thought it about time to fit the polished one ;)
Looking good with the covers fitted,

Let's just hope the weather stays around for us next weekend :)

Did you laquer the polished plenum Phil or will it retain its currently superb non-oxidised polished finish OK ?

Thought about applying laquer Martin but decided against it because I didn't know how it would react with the heat or would it stick to a polished finish. Plus if the plenum does oxidise or fade then it would be a simple job to put the polish wheel back in the drill and buff back bright :approve:
