ON BEHALF OF A FRIEND
For a very limited time i'm going to offer my car for sale before I start on the next evolution. I have big plans which would mean pulling this car apart and I think its really too good to do so, however if nobody agrees then i'll just get on with it!
I guess a lot of you will already know this car, if you don't then the build thread will describe in great detail the amount of work that has gone into building this car.
build thread
The car started life as a 111s which I converted to honda power at 39000 miles. It now has 51000 on the clock, the last 1000 of which were completed with a brand new high compression K20 engine.
The wishbones were all shot blasted and treated with POR15 before being fitted with nitron bearings and new ball joints throughout. 4 new wheel bearings were fitted, an adjustable anti roll bar and spitfire toe links. Suspension is Gaz Gold Pro dampers with 400lb front and 500lb rear springs.
The gearbox is fitted with a wavetrac LSD and longer final drive to give 6 usable gears. The gearshift itself is one of the best parts of the car, better than my old S2000 even. Unbreakable driveshafts and honda inner and outer CV's with bespoke drive flanges put the power down.
The engine is a high compression 2044cc K20 breathing through an RRC manifold and 70mm clockwise throttle body. The crank, rods, pistons, flywheel, clutch, damper etc have all been balanced. It is a VERY quick car and will hold its own against others that have supposedly far more power, it helps that it is only 750kilos.
A complete plug and play loom replaces the old honda engine loom and an EFI Euro 2 ECU controls things. A big laminova cooler keeps the oil cool and the alloy rad up front ensures this car will take as much punishment as you can give it.
CL6 pads, braided hoses and motul fluid ensures you can stop as well as you can go, in fact the brakes are probably more impressive than the performance.
Inside there are a pair of kevlar corbeau seats, schroth harnesses, black carpet, oil pressure and temp guage and a lambda guage. The standard instruments are present so you'll have no end of amusement watching the rev counter needle stop at 8000 while the engine keeps going for almost another 1000rpm.
340R delivery rims and a brand new set of AD08r's are currently on the car.
As I said, I have big plans which I want to put into action soon so this will be available for a week or two at the most. If it doesn't sell then I will just crack on with it.
Price is £20000.00
