eBay selling tactics

Right, I've got a fair bit of stuff to list on the old eBay, which to the right buyer at the right time could net me a fair amount of filthy lucre.

I could list it all now but would it be more prudent to do it tomorrow at an earlier time, such that the finish time is at a slightly more sociable hour? Or does it not matter, seeing as most people who decide they want something will either bid their max before the auction ends anyway?

You can specify a finish time for a few pence. Finishing at 9pm might get more attention than 4 in the morning for example

Well yeah that was my point but I could have either gone for a 9pm finish tonight or bite my lip and set it up for say 7pm tomorrow evening.

In my experience it is best to end items between 7pm and 8 pm on a Sunday evening.

I have found

Friday between 5pm 6pm - Office workers
7pm weekdays - Families
9 pm weekdays - Singles
2 am Weekends - Pissheads and Stoners
