Earth straps

Good evening all. So having just realised the vee needs an mot it got booked in to my local country exrenault specalists where I have been taking the vee for the last 10 years and my gt5 for the last 20 years . Whilst having a chat about most things walking around and under the vee I noticed the red taillights had a very slight dimming to them when the hazards came on drawing power from the reds. So it was suggested to maybe check and replace the earth straps with some nice braided jobbys as this would ideally sort the problem. So my question is for some one in the know......how many are there and where would they be located please. My guess would be 2 . one from battery and the other from gearbox but if someone could confirm that would be fab thank you guys.
Regards Jiimm.
Ps once again a flying pass with no advisory's top job!!!

It won’t be the main earth straps at fault, itl be the connector/plug going to the rear lamps.

Remove the lamps and disconnect, check terminals on lamps for corrosion and discolouration. You will have to replace wiring connector to lamps and may have to have new lamps as the bulb holder only come with new lamps. All available from Renault.

Common Clio fault to have manky connectors on the light clusters. I clean em up with a small dremel/wire brush thing unless they're rotted out in which case the clusters can be nabbed from any old Clio in the scrappy if you can find one with decent connectors.

Cheers for the advise boys all connectors and bulbs are good and clean . I would still like to up grade the straps tho so if any one has any info that would be fab. Saves me calling a local renault dealer and explaining what a clio v6 is and yes it only has 2 seats lol :)
