Archived Door solenoid

New 21 door solenoids, are they the same for each door? Locks work, Central locking only works on 2 of them. Can you replace them with a alternative solenoid I think I remember someone mentioning Laguna ones but that was a couple of years back so I could be incorrect. Cheers Alex

I think front and back are the same, but i'm not sure if they are sided. A solenoid is a solenoid though, as long as it's 12v and you're prepared to mount it in the right place any one will work....but for the 'easy' straight swap I don't know of alternatives. I'd imagine Mk1 laguna would be your best bet, or early R19's.
