Different profiles of tyres

Is it possible to run 195/45/15s on the front and 195/50/15s on the rear? Lowered 50mm on the front and it scrubs slightly on full lock with really worn tyres. Got to buy new tyres for the front but the backs are fine, so is it legal?

yea its fine , law says you must have the same size tyre on the same axle only

yeah ski is right. i use to be a tyre fitter as long as the same size tyre is on the same axle its ok.
