Detailing

bidderman1969

detailer
had my first detailing lesson today, really enjoyed it as its something i want to do as a second income so i have lots of practice to get it. its a bit harder than i thought but worth it as i have seen some of the results to be had, so i had 2 1/2 hours of rotary lessons practicing on the wife's old fiesta we will be selling soon and just used the bonnet for practical stuff.

a few before shots........

needless to say, my black 19's bonnet has some severe swirling and scratching on it, (not helped by the little scroats round here that have climbed on the car) so that will be another practice car to be getting the treatment

Hang on, we have a special symbol on here for 'detailing': :wanker:

j/k. I prefer to 'clean and polish' :p

Just get plenty of practise before you 'detail' my chammy lol
Looking impressive so far on the fiesta.

its more complicated than that, after 2 1/2 hours tuition, im still not a "pro" believe me! a lot of it is self taught, basically start using a product you're confident with, get good results and then try other stuff.

aye, and i feel good and comfortable using the machine too, even tho its not the best around, but its the results that speak for themselves, which is what i aim to achieve

had to pinch these couple of pics....

cheapy off ebay, gotta get myself a Makita at some point, if i can master this one, i can master the Makita!

fancy your black one being done? lol

sure it can be arranged, lol, you should see the black bonnets where the damn kids have been climbing on the car, little gits, if i catch them, im marching them round to their parents and tell them they have a detailing bill coming to them!

You should think yourself lucky all theyve done is doodled in the dust.

Most places cars that are stood more than a week are considered by local scallies fair game to smash up and burn out.

yeah i'd actually be quite happy if someone wrote a smiley face on my bonnet, not that i have one at the minute. you must have the softest vandals ever :p

impressive. i dunno bout you guys or if you think this is a bit sad but everytime i valetted the megane when it was worth doing i used to go round under the bonet squirtin everthing flattish ie. r/c slam panel, turrett covers etc with wd40 and wipin it so it looked all clean n shiny. see if i can post a pic of apres accident. got silly 15inc wheels now. and the bays not been touched for 18 months.URL=http://imgbolt.com]
