Cylinder Head Gasket

Boooooooo, took the inlet manifold off this weekend to finally try and track down this oil leak which has been slowly dripping since I got the car.

Typically, the head is very, but below the split line block is oily as hell, looks like its defo seeping oil out around the head gasket.

Looking on this site I found lots of mentions of the Payen DX590 set, is that still the way to go? Actually didn't find any kind of breakdown of what is included in that tho, would the inlet and exhaust manifold gaskets be part of it?

Also.... will I need to get the head machined flat, or are they generally OK, I think i'll do the valve stem seals at the same time, don't want to have to take the thing apart too many times!

As always, thanks for the help.

Dx590 is the full head gasket set from Payen.

It includes exhaust & inlet manifold gaskets.

Normally you would get the head checked for straightness, with the head being refaced.

If you are going to do the stem seals, it would make sense to re-lap the valves in.
