I've been experimenting a bit with the exhaustsystem, mostly due to the fact that I couldn't pass MOT last august while the cats were removed. Normally you can fool the lambda probes a bit to get the good emisions, by placing a potentiometer across the probes, but the Clio engine doesn't like it too much. So I had to look for an option with Cats in place. Since I still had a trophy system, I tried this system. Since the trophy has no rear boot, and the endtubes are much lower compared to the normal Clio, I had some welding to do on the backbox so it fits the normal Vee.
Finally I got it all in place, but oh my god the SOUND, TOOOOOOOOO LOUD. Undrivable, so the next option even more complex came up, adapt the janspeed endbox so it fits the trophy system. Now the sound is within limits again. I'll post a vid when I have time, but here some pics of the experiment.
