Couldn't turn Alarm off

Had a slight issue with the Alarm yesterday.

Unlocked the car, and I think I was a little too quick opening the boot, and set the alarm off. I was unable to disable the alarm for 15-20mins, it just kept sounding. Whilst sounding, the alarm went slow a few times, and sounded a bit poorly, is this all part of the siren tones, or should it be constant?

I swapped key fobs, and the alarm reset. Could I need a new battery in the fob, or could I have an issue?

Hi Ivan,

Mine goes off if I open a door, bonnet, boot too quickly after unlocking the car.

A simple lock and unlock using the fob stops the siren going off for me and returns everything to normal.

I've only ever heard mine going off with a constant tone before, if it was dying in tone it sounds like lack of power to me, but I'm no expert on alarm systems
