compression???

Right did a compression test today so can anyone tell me what the
tollerances for compression between each cylinder??

10.3bar but I'v seen them as low as 8bar without too many problems

8.0-9.5bar........... bit of a difference, but hay-ho its a 20 year old renault!

I thought it was a big differance but its running spot on???? yeah the oil pressure is dicking about a bit but i think a new switch and oil change will hopefully sort that.

is the oil pressure sender all metal or half plastic, like the one in the pic?

as far as i know its still the original one!

phase 2/3 sensor is plastic and doesnt

Pour half an eggcup of oil down the plug hole and retry. If it raises 1 and 2 up the rings are on the way out.
