Collection day... Mars red Beast

I'm very happy to say that I am the proud owner of a Clio V6 255 formerly owned by Colin. I collected the car today and bought it unseen. All I can say is the car has far surpassed expectations. I drove a brief 100 mile stint in the car today. Driving a further 400 miles tomorrow back to Dublin. Can't describe how happy I am. After a brief period owning a phase 1 car last year I couldn't but buy this car when I seen it advertised. I'm planning to drive her a lot and hopefully do some trips with the club next year. Il post some photos of the journey back. Hoping to fully open the taps tomorrow to see what she can do.

Great buy Simon, you've got a great car off Colin that's been loved and polished within an inch of it's life :approve:

Cheers lads. Just pulled into the driveway after a flawless 500 miles. It did everything I could have wanted. Great fun on the B roads and an effortless high speed motorway cruiser. Can't wait for some mountain drives on my favorite roads.

Nice, I had my first passenger run in a phase 2 V6 in that very car with Alex when it resided here in Edinburgh. Good times :salut:

Haha I went out with Alex also when he owned it. I have pictures somewhere on here.

Glad you got home safe Simon and the car was perfect.

A few days in, it's wierd having a garage that's empty at one side, but I've not regrets. I think the time was just right for me. :approve:

Congratulations Simon, great car. And Colin I'm glad you're not having regrets...as so many do!

What's going to fill the gap in the garage next? :race:
