This is not another moan about coils thread (I actually quite like doing them)
I've had coils go twice on mine now, once last September and then this February. Both times I've had 2 go, has anybody else found this or do you normally just get 1 go? One of the ones that went was one I only replaced in September  but Renault have said I'm entitled to a refund.
Also evyone else might have thought of this but on the Mk1, instead of testing the three under the plenum in one at a time, just make sure the three at the front are working ok and then replace them witht he ones under the plenum. You can then test the remaining coils without taking the plenum off each time
