coilovers

the prices are:
front 2wd/4wd £180 (adjustable hieght/re-bound) each
rear shock 4wd £140(adjustable rate) pair
rear springs 4wd £80 (lowered/uprated) pair
rear shock/springs £148 (adjustable rate) each

hope that helps everyone, the price is a bit more than before but these prices include vat, but the quality is top notch, hope to fit them soon will let you guys know how they are:mrgreen:

if anyone wants a set i will need a set of front struts to have them made.

How come the rear turns out more expensive than the front? shocks+springs = £220?
For the front I assume it's a complete unit with adjustable height for the £180?

So in total for a complete suspension setup = £400

I'm very new to the 21/quaddies, but what alternatives are there and what do standard normally cost?

Oh, and is it only re-bound damping that is adjustable? (If memory serves correctly re-bound is when the damper is "expanding"?) How about the compression, is that fixed, and are the same adjustments possible both front and rear?

I Make that £580 for a full set of Quadra shocks and springs, and £656 for a full set of 2wd. Good price!

MR Slim  Are these prices a 1 off promo or will they be this price all the time? or if there was say 5 sets ordered at once is there a better price?
Just asking:good:

Andy

the prices should be for allways mate, unfortunately because they have to machine the old struts there is no discount for the sets. i did ask about group buy but he said it would make no diffrance to the manufacturing time so no discount

finally got the coilovers fitted, and they have transfered the handling of the car, there is no more bounce at the front, it's much tighter in the bends, and hardly any roll, it's great, i'm really happy with the out come and i haven't even played about with the rate and rebound settings. here are some pics of car before and after

Cool beans matey.

Be interested to give it a spin and compare it to my Quaddie if you got no objections? :good:

I take it these still use the standard top mounts?

Would Gaz make alloy top mounts as well so that we can alter the camber?

i hate to think how much they would charge, would n't i be easyer to make a bracket for the bottom ball joint to adjust the camber?

If I was wanted to do it cheaply I'd slot the shock mounting points on the hub so that some adjustment can be made.
