coilovers...fitting?!

confused about who i can get to fit coilovers..

is it a case of..

a) specialist car garage/tuning company etc..
b) average grease monkey and a couple of hours..

what needs altered on the camber etc??

I believe the fitting is relatively easy ... ultimately the fitment at the ends is identical whether you're fitting coilovers or separate spring/shocks ... and if anything coilovers are easier since you've not got to piss around with spring compressors etc..

However, the thing which does need more expert help is setting up the coilovers properly.

Actually you can just get any shop to fit it. Then get some shop that knows how to tune it to tune it for you.

going to order H&R from k-tec mike..

£814 with cliosport discount...and allow the vee to go verrry low! :)

I'm in the process of selling a set of H&R's for the 182 (bought them before I sold it after hearing how good they were).

I'd love to drop the car a couple of cm's.

fitting is easy

set up and alighnment geo etc u need a specialsist

k tec did all mine for the kw,s

I prefer the drop a few concrete slabs in the bonnet and ontop of the engine cover route....looks good too and a hell of alot cheaper....power to weight affected though!

Actually had a friend who did this for real because he was too tight to fit even a set of lowering springs!

No really.....if Ant and Dec can manage it we must be better.....

The new Reeves and Mortimer.....I like that!

Yeah.....Andy's secretly working on a some rap tune for the forum theme, but we could totally kill him with our version....lol

Vee to Sixy for our cars, too Sixy for our cars ....too sixy by far.....

What do you think? Be honest....its just a start!
