Cliov6 Passion - Linas-Montlhery - 29th-30th September 2012

So everyone...!

We're looking at meeting at the departure terminal at 10.00am please. That will allow for the odd straggler, breakfast and time for a good old micky take of each other to set the mood for the trip.

I think you all have my number, but if you dont, please send me a PM with your number, and i'll send it to you.

Will update again, finally, tomorrow eve. :race:

Illiads common as muck ;) Only one ph1 (tastefully modified) whats going on? Where are you all? Looking forward to this now :) I should really post up photos from last year before we go on this trip!!

Maybe next year, too much mileage this year (yes, I know. I'm appalled at myself), not enough holiday and I've spent too much money in the last couple of months :(

I go every year so you can tag along with me next year. As it wont be an official V6clio meet we can soooooo misbehave ;)

Are we all ready then..? [smilie=yay.gif]

Not quite. My vee is 130 miles from me at the moment but rest assured it will be back at home tomorrow night in readiness for another epic eurotrip (although short but sweet for Mark and I).

Next year..? The last v6Passion meet we went on was in 2010 Mick..! lol Its a shame more people were not able to come along to this.. I've no doubt this will be as equally epic as the previous trip tbh, which was simple awesome!

There will be other trips... guaranteed.. :approve:

Was I being a bit presumptive? Ah sheeeet, although you have the power!!!

When is the 2013 list dropping anyway? Come on guys, I pay 6 quid a year for this shit, I'm really struggling to see the value for money right now.

Just in case people can't detect sarcasm on the internet: ;) ;)

Nas, how many Montherly events have you done then? pretty sure this was 2 years ago. right? the infamous brake pad scenario wasnt it?

I have done two events so far. Two years ago with no brake pads left and last year as well. Thanks James for putting the pics up from last year. I was struggling to get the pics up as this is not my laptop and my imageshack is 700 pics above my limit!! And this laptop is soooooooooooooooo slow!!

OK, was that a secret trip or did I just miss it. had no idea you went.

My vee was heavily stone-chipped from my Mon to Fri Highland Fling round Scotland. Following an audi R8 most days with its huge wide tyres flicked every stone in my direction. Then Sat-Sun went straight onto Montlhery!! Thats why you are coming mate. Two years ago went with a friend. Last year had no one so struggled a little with the tolls and cut my shin on my gearstick!! Hence I need you to do the tolls!! I drove my vee back from Birmingham today, put it on cruise control at French speed limit and got over 26mpg (reset trip). Pretty good going :)

I just went on my own!! Werent a secret or anything just kept in contact with axel and his son Nicolai via emails and with Ben and Vincent and visit the v6passion site. Thats why I was a little gutted to miss the Euro tour they had this year cos I hadnt gone on their site for a few months. What an epic trip they did!! They do a few track days during the year Montlhery is a annual fixture.

Almost ready to join the others. I know they will be blown away by the banked circuit cos its something they will never have done before and sensations of straining up to see where you are going is amazing.

Great and eventful weekend, just wish I had taken a car with me. photos and stuff to follow. Completely different to any track day you could do anywhere in the world. No way would they let you near banking like that in the USA in your road car, even doing a NASCAR Petty experience there would be a whole morning of instruction and on track training. Being driven around there only 3 words come to mind. Holy, F******, S***.

I really want to thank all the forum members who came in France once again, you are, but you know, definitely huge Vee addicts, and you'll be always welcome [cmilie=iconcheers.gif]

A shame 1 of my front pads was worn due to a gravel...was not able to drive many people (once again Nas was the one) :race:

Please (I know it is not easy), try to find a way to meet you in UK (Goodwood would be great...) !

And congratulations for the shape of your cars, you won all prices, and moreover for your passion and "warm" discussions, a real pleasure !!!!

PS: sorry for the food, the menus and quantites were not corresponding to the order...sure Montlhery team will do better next time :approve:

RECORD SET: 65 Vees
