A new book on the Clio RS cars has been self published in France. "CLIO R.S. Les virages dans la peau".

It has sizeable chapters on the phase 1 and the phase 2 v6's. An interesting read (even if only in French!). The author has clearly spoken with key people from TWR and Dieppe to get some anecdotes and details not previously published.

You can buy it from http://www.meganers-lelivre.com/

Translated overview:
Clio R.S.

"Turns in the skin"

If the history of R.S. officially starts in 1999 on the basis of Clio II, its predecessor knew two flagship models: the 16S and Williams. It is then all the international and national series of the Clio Renault Sport range that is treated, not without some surprises that you will discover, until the latest, the Clio RS 18. Cherry on the cake, Clio V6 enjoy two richly written chapters and photos. Because to make this story live, clichés - all unpublished - are at the height of the vehicles and a dynamic layout will not disillusion the readers of the previous books. A very wide range of colors has been chosen to offer maximum diversity.

Going through the 168 pages, you'll know everything about the history of the Clio R.S., from its beginnings to the current version, all chassis together, each seen in detail. Renault Sport Cars trusted us and honored us with an impressive number of production figures, most of which had never been published so far.

But, first and foremost, "Clio R.S.: the bends in the skin" begins with a preface signed Jean Ragnotti, who has kindly agreed to participate in the 18-month long adventure. Now that every turn has been successfully negotiated, all you have to do is find out about the many anecdotes scattered throughout the book and you will become, then, unbeatable on sports Clio!

I was about to order a copy then saw the €58 shipping cost. I got a pair of Clio V6 front brake discs plus a set of pads sent from the UK to Australia for that amount.
