Clio MK3 1.2 TCE remap/setup plans?

1.2TCE

New Member
Hi all,

I'm Reda from the Netherlands. I bought a Clio 1.2 TCE, I have driven multiple turbo engine's, as example 20VT's engines and a Astra Turbo, I love the kick of it.
Due corona, and a bit of a small wallet since I have been married, do I drive now a small Clio TCE, I love the car, not fast, but acceptable, for now..

I wondering, what can I do more to get more 'pep/boost' in this little engines, before I do a remap.

The small 'mods' now is only a default in-lay K/N air filter, just the stock one.
Other plans to do:

* 17 inch Twingo RS alloy/wheels (with maybe some 20mm spacers)
* I bought some Clio injectors the 172/182 version.
* Need a upgrade clutch, mine slips sometimes with hard drive round 2/3K RPM.
* Maybe a 200 cell downpipe, but I'm afraid for the exhaust smell in the interior.
* Better springs/shocks.
* Tint my windows rear
* Install cruise control on it
* Maybe RS front bumper or GT one's.
* Another headlights, with projectors in it so I can install some 5000K aftermarket xenon.

Any other tuning/performance advice is welcome!

I actually meant to come back and try and answer some of the other questions.

The link tells you all about the performance side, also leave the stock cat in, it hasn't shown to be a restriction.

You can usually get away with a mild lowering on standard shocks, but you can also get shock and spring combos or full coilovers, kind of depends on your goals and budget.

Cruise control may already be pre wired and you just need the steering wheel and it activating. Look behind the light adjustment panel on the lower dash, you are looking for a spare unused connector there as a first port of call.

not sure on some of the other bits sorry

On my 1.2 Dynamique TCE the cruise button is down by the handbrake.
