Just fitted up a poly bushed dog bone mount to stiffen things up yet more again. Inlet setup has been sold so that's coming off soon to make way for, fingers crossed BOOST @Brigsy has an engine for me, a f4rt. So future plans will be an f4 hybrid, using the t Pistons rods and head on the atmo block so I can keep the gearbox. Will take a while with a little one on the way but should be fun
yes so wont bolt to the early f4r block (172/182), you could do a complete swap and use the f4rt lump and box but i think you would need custom shafts as a minimum, i could be wrong but i think they use hydraulic clutch too, i know the 197 does.
wasnt ment to carry on like it has lol. rods are good for 280lbft? not going mental with it, well yet. It more in the tinkering and actually building a hybrid engine out of spares than making massive power.
