Have a word with Mr Patchall His have some red 'crackle' effect paint on and that looks spot on :approve:
Unless you've got a lot of time on your hands wouldn't bother with polishing plenum cover!!!!!!! Wish I never started :rofl:

I had my 172 plenum polished for 50 quid, the vee looks alot easier to do? Obviously with a machine sod doing it by hand lol

Just an idea but could that top bit of the plenum be painted with high temp paint?

Wouldn't need to be high temp paint in my opinion.
