Absorbs tons of water but does the job nicely

Fluffy Duster

I like the duster idea :approve:

I haven't got a fluffy duster... How about a toilet brush?

Everyone is trying to use bits and bobs to clean their vees. The easiest and best method I have found is actually using your hands and fingers! With the left over water in the clean bucket. Just get to work, don't be afraid to get your hands dirty. You can get into every little nook and cranny and you'll know when you've finished the job because your hands will not be getting any more dirt on them when you run them over the wheels.

Are you for real Matt.? [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

Being allergic to most cleaning products, I use a blue rubber glove, that on its own does a good job in the nooks.

Honestly? :)

No, it's simply down to the fact you can get your fingers in between the spokes, but there aren't any spokes on the roof, windows, bonnet, boot etc.
Give it a try next time. Literally takes a minute or so per wheel.

I use somthing called an exfoliating glove that i found in the bath room, don't know what exfoliating is it must be code for "cleaning crap off alloy wheels". It's like a microfibre glove, does a good job.

some interesting opinions here...lol

Best best is to give them a good dose of Bilberry safe wheel cleaner, allow to dwell for a minute or two, dont let it dry...
Get yourself a wheel brush (£2 ish from i4detailing, looks exactly like the megs bottle brush, but alot cheaper), a horse hair soft brush for the wheel face....

after that, a coat of a good winter protection wax, Collinite 476 is a favourite, this will help reduce the amount of dirt build up and make cleaning them alot easier.

hth.. :salut:
