Cleaning inside of alloy wheels

Hello All,

Given that my alloys have now been freshly refurbished and are looking superb , I want to do my best to keep them that way. Now, cleaning the outside & spokes is obviously straight forward, but I have 2 questions:

1. What is the best way of cleaning the inside of the alloy? (I can't reach around the back of the wheel to get access to the inner of the wheel)

2. Can someone please recommend a good wheel wax? I've used poorboys wheel sealant in the past, but was wondering if there is a better one out there.

1. I'm always using brushes for the spoke edges and front of the wheel and wheel woolies for the innerside of the wheel:

In combination with non-ferro/iron-x, shampoo or a wheelcleaner.

2. Poorboys wheel wax is a good one. I now got a quartz coating on the rims (Gyeon Q2 Rim) which is perfect for keeping it clean and protected.

I use the wheels woolies too - lovely and soft and NO METAL ! Just plastic handle which goes to end of brush - my nurburgring has similar alloys and no problem cleaning this type of wheel ! I use a m. Fibre cloth to get to behind spokes and on to hub Because I clean on a regular basis I feel no need to seal with products

I used to take my wheels off to clean them, bit of a faff though, these little fellas look just the job!

I use the wheel woolies pictured and poorboys .find the poorboys well woth the effort as the dust and dirt just falls off, once coated I dont even use a wheel cleaner just car shampoo and it bring them up like new.

I use wheel woollies too! Expensive but robust.
