Found what looks to be an absolute classic R5 on eBay this morning, looks mint condish.
Unfortunately I'm broke at the moment
I thought I would share the find though.
Description:
A very rare gem 1989 All original Renault 5 1.4 TL 3 door Automatic Metallic Blue with genuine 14,300 miles from new. Superb condition inside and out and extremely rare in this condition, and fast approaching 'Classic' status. Sailed through its last MOT and without any advisories.
All carpets and seats are as new. Engine and gearbox are perfect and the car drives beautifully.
Fitted with Power Assisted Steering, Central Locking and Electric Windows, new Radio/CD player, all in perfect working order, plus Split folding rear seats making this a very versatile vehicle.
PAS is light and precise so you can park this on a sixpence, but sits just aswell on a cruise down the motorway. Economical to run and cheap to tax.
Had recent new exhaust, new battery, new water pump, all replaced to keep the car in pristine working order.
Car is taxed until September and MOT until August.
Been in the original owners family from new, so the original Renault garage plus two registered keepers in the same family prior to me.
Spent the last ten years on the Isle-of-Wight and only occasionally used for local shopping
This is a real pearl with all history and previous MOT's to support the incredibly low mileage.
No dings or dents, just one small surface scratch in the plastic moulding on the bottom of the drivers door.
This car needs to be seen to be believed and collects admiring glances and comments on every trip to the supermarket.
