Last night coming home from the gym at 19:30 I pulled up at some lights.

Next thing a car pulled up next to me and its passenger side alloy caught my attention, it was a black Merc CL65 AMG w12 (rarer than a vee). After a good look at it I looked at the driver and he was all giddy and gave me the thumbs up.

Considering his car value exceeds four almost five times the value of a vee and has well over double the power I was quite happy with the recognition I got in the vee.

and no i didnt race him of the lights because i would have got slaughtered

After that I went to the shops to be stopped by a couple of females who were praising the car [smilie=cool.gif]

All happened within a few minutes of each other, not bad goin :D
 
It still brings a huge smile to my face when i hear stories like these.

I had a driver of a new brand Passat staring at mine,as well as the 3 passengers in the back of it. They were all gushing like a burst pipe and pointing and staring. Also had somebody hanging out of the passenger window last week taking pictures of my Vee at around 60 mph!!!

I will never get tired of people showing there appreciation of my choice of transport!!!

Yeah these stories bring the old smile to the face!!!!!!!!!

Yup, I got a thumbs up from an R8 yesterday, may have been something to do with the fact my girl was driving tho :)
 
I love it when this happens :) A guy with a brand shiny new big merc cabriolet (I forgot Merc model names/numbers) leant out of his car and took the Vee's photo on his phone the other day :) I was grinning like a wankingmonkey all the way home :D

The CL65 is the CL65 AMG.. V12 not W12..

Your getting confused with the CL55, Supercharged V8 which there are plenty of

Cool car, only 20 made because they were so expensive, looks like they have lost a little! OUch....

^^thats rite mate. Defo a W12 it was badged on his wheel arch underneath a couple of nice vents [smilie=cool.gif]
 
Must have been the only one in the world with a W12..

So in that case very rare, good spot!
 
Yeah, I knew the Merc was a Vee (not a Double Ewe)!
I was just being cheeky to our lord and moderator James "Brown" (or is that "Bronze"?) :D

Unless Tapias spotted some crazy fool who shoe-honed a Bentley W12 into their Merc? Nah! :D
