Cheap Phase 1

Why is that Phase 1 on Autotrader so cheap? Its priced at £6500. I know its had 11 prev owners but with FSH and only 48k on the clock do you think its a Cat C/D?

On closer inspection:

Black side pods
Poor condition steering wheel
Something up with the fog light surrounds
Tacky Halfords V6 badges under the indicators

Add on possible scuffs and marks on the bodywork / wheels then I guess you could understand the lower than usual asking price?

Well mine has had 8...and its on 55k...but its mint and been loved. Totally standard with FSH etc...I do all th work myself so I know its Kosher. I reckon mine is worth more than £6500?

Maybe the cheap one in A/Trader is uncared for and a bit tatty? Possibly owned by a nipper with no respect....chav?

its been for sale before, ive also seen it up close before in a car park about a year ago. minus the rusty exhaust it didnt look bad, just looked like it had been used.

last time it was for sale the speedo didnt work and there was a few electrical faults, it appears to be missing fog light surrounds, maybe had a front end smack?

would prob cost a few grand to get back to top condition, but not badly priced if you werent bothered about that.

I remember that one. It was priced cheap before. I rang the guy and it didnt sound to hot. Something about the speedo being disconnected from the dash?

Whoever buys it will prob unearth a load of wear and tear probs...tyres/brakes/balljoints...etc

if speedo is not working would ileage be wrong, might have been clocked..? I know the oddometer is electrical but if its been fiddled with might affect the speedo working properly..?
