I have had to find my chassis number for my car today for the dvla to register my car. The one on the dash and door and the service book all match but they are just stickers no proper metal plates like i am used to in my previous car (Civic type r). Is everyones the same or does mine sound a bit dodgy. Just seems a bit easy to forge if they are normal. Just a bit worried as it is not registered in my name yet and cost me 20k. Dvla are finding it hard to find my cars details

Thanks

Is it stamped into the bulkhead under the bonnet ? I don't know for certain but many cars are :-)

I'm sorry but you have to cut the carpet, The chassisnumber is located on the beam in front of the righthandseat.
The carpet is precut, so just carefully cut the remaining small pieces.
