Car won't start & I can't open the bonnet !!

Not driven it for a week & the batterys flat !!

Thing is though - I can't open the bonnet to get to the battery !!
The bonnet doesn't 'pop' if you know what I mean.

The bonnet catch has always been a bit stiff, last week I had the bonnet open, went to close it & it didn't wanna know - I made sure the popper in the car was flat & then shut it.

I don't think the cables working properly, as there's not enough pull on it.
I don't think it's pullling the metal lever out of the way enough (the bit where the catch is - the spring thing)

How do you open it ??

One man pull the handle in the car en the other one pull the bonet up.
If this not work,you have a (big) problem.

Phew !
Sorted now, I pushed down gently on the bonnet (with it closed) then my dad pulled the lever then it was fine (strange)

All's fine now [smilie=cool.gif] just going to add a bit of grease to the catch as it's dry.

Would squrt Wd 40 leave for 12 hours then grease.
