Yes, this seems to happen when fitting a ph2 front to a ph1. Yarnis car used to be exactly the same. I doubt there is anything wrong with your car. Maybe you just need ph2 bottom arms, arb and struts to complete. Its probably how renault decided to lengthen the wheel base on the later cars for a slightly more stabble platform. It would also add a few degrees castor to I'd imagine.
 
As Brett said... This looks to be the same as Yanni's car. It'd certainly be interesting to find out what's different between the two models to cause the difference.
