Caliper Bolts

Does anyone know where I can get a set of caliper bolts from - there for front calipers off my ph1. The bolts Im after are the torx heads that when you remove allow you to lift up the caliper for acess to the pads.

The heads on mine are shot to pieces where Ive used a socket to round over the head the last couple of pad changes.

I've tried local fasteners, and engineering shop but no joy - do renault sell these seperately???

USE A T50 TORX YOU ROPEY SCUMBAGS!

(Or a T40 if its earlier version)

Anyway, a kit is available from Renault containing a few little bits including these Torx bolts. They were £8 + VAT last time I bought some.

I bought a caliper kit in May 2004, the part number was R77 01 202 480 and it was £19.81.
It contained the bolt you mentioned and some dust covers and the spring plate thingy majig.

Eeeeeyup. Its the refurb kit - I got one from renault last year after using some stilsons when I had the same problem.

It comes with one bolt and all the rubber seals.

Its worth it Phil, Those emergency brake pad changes are much easier.....14 mins my record driving in to driving out LOL

Its well worth it! I done the pads yesterday. Stilsons do seem a bit harsh at first, but held their grip better than any under sized socket Ive ever used

Thanks guys
