Caliper Bolts - HELP!

G

Guest

How on earth can i get the two bolts on the caliper off so i can change the discs and pads??? I've tried by hand but its pretty stuck :(

Cheers
Dan

put a spanner or ratchet on it then get something heavy duty like a hammer and rest it against the handle and push it as hard as possible against the strut or anything! they are bastards to get off!!

wd40 for a bit may help, but i didnt bother. It's all about the leverage!!

19mm socket i believe, get a hammer and bash hard with wheel turned for good access, you just need to break it free... mine were like that, use brute force...
